I am from Perth, Western Australia.

I graduated from medical school in 2000 and commenced my first anaesthetics job in the United Kingdom in 2004. I was accepted onto the ANZCA training programme in Perth in 2006 and did a further year in the UK as a senior registrar in 2009. 

I completed a fellowship in paediatric anaesthesia at Princess Margaret Hospital as a senior registrar in anaesthesia and in the intensive care unit. I completed a difficult airway fellowship at Fremantle Hospital.

I have been a consultant anaesthetist with South Metro Health Service since 2012, first at Fremantle Hospital followed by Fiona Stanley Hospital when it opened in October 2014 and now the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital group. My regular public hospital lists include paediatric MRI, ENT, Obstetrics, endoscopy and preadmission clinic. I am on the paediatric anaesthesia on call roster at Fiona Stanley Hospital. I am also an Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor.

I work at West Leederville Private Hospital with plastic surgeons, Dr Vij Vijayasekaran and Dr Rohan Page. I have worked with them since 2013. The lists have both adult and paediatric patients.

I also work at St John of God Murdoch Hospital with gastroenterologists Dr Oliver Waters and Dr Amanda Thomas who I have worked with since 2014 and 2020 respectively. I participate in the on call roster doing general and obstetric anaesthesia on calls.
